Description

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas within a defined book of business.
  • Execute a solution-based sales process across multiple groups within mature commercial accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities within existing customers by identifying high-value needs across departments and lines of business.
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet’s footprint and drive revenue during renewals.
  • Increase brand awareness with c-suite, operational, and team-level stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams to support the full sales cycle and close business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records and use MEDDICC qualification guidelines to forecast effectively.
  • Use sales enablement tools and account research to identify top accounts and build territory plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full sales-cycle management experience with a proven track record in SaaS.
  • 3+ years of experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle.
  • 3+ years of experience working across multiple functional departments throughout the customer lifecycle from initial engagement through implementation and renewal.
  • Ability to research accounts to uncover upsell opportunities and multi-thread opportunities across an organization.
  • Experience using CRM and BI tools such as Salesforce and Tableau to track activity, monitor metrics, and gain territory insights.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with MEDDICC qualification guidelines and sales forecasting (preferred).

  • US base salary range of $75,000 to $95,000.
