Description

  • Build and close high-impact partnerships with city governments, transport authorities, and private operators across the Western territory.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial conversation through signed deal.
  • Execute go-to-market plans tailored to public-sector procurement, political dynamics, and multi-year funding cycles.
  • Develop compelling, data-driven business cases that demonstrate improvements in ridership, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Advise city leaders and mobility operators on future transit networks, funding mechanisms, and operational constraints.
  • Represent Via externally at conferences, industry events, and through thought leadership in the market.
  • Share market intelligence with product and strategy teams based on customer and industry needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategy.
  • Proven success in enterprise, government, infrastructure, or tech-enabled services sales.
  • Background in public transport or mobility is a strong plus.
  • Track record of winning complex, multi-stakeholder deals built on trust and influence.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to turn data, policy, and customer needs into a clear commercial narrative.
  • Ability to adapt communication style for boardrooms, conferences, and written proposals.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and taking action without perfect conditions.
  • Sound commercial judgment with the ability to know when to push, listen, or rethink an approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working in high-ownership environments.
