Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across Tier 3 and smaller Tier 2 accounts.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify Tier 1 and Tier 2 opportunities for handoff to the senior sales team.
  • Execute outbound prospecting and cold outreach to generate pipeline from scratch.
  • Use automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies to scale outreach and improve efficiency.
  • Qualify prospects based on business needs, use cases, and fit with Simply.TV solutions.
  • Generate high-quality meetings and opportunities for the commercial team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
  • Represent Simply.TV as a commercial ambassador in the U.S. market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on outbound or hunter roles.
  • Experience in inbound sales is required; outbound sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch and consistently generate qualified opportunities.
  • Experience working in cold-start environments where opportunities must be created from scratch.
  • Experience using automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies.
  • Experience in the TV supplier industry is highly preferred, especially in metadata, content discovery, or related media/streaming environments.
  • Strong understanding of how to engage and qualify mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Strong CRM discipline with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and qualify stakeholders.
  • High degree of autonomy, ownership, and resilience in a target-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in the TV and video technology supplier industry with contacts among TV operators, broadcasters, streamers, and connected TV manufacturers.
  • Deep understanding of the TV and video streaming industry and the role metadata plays in improving product experience.
