Description

  • Design and develop test plans and detailed test cases based on functional, non-functional, and design specifications.
  • Execute test cases on web and mobile platforms, analyze results, and report findings to the engineering team.
  • Work within an Agile/Scrum framework to ensure smooth delivery and appropriate QA coverage for projects.
  • Participate in team meetings for project scoping, design reviews, test planning, and technical documentation review.
  • Perform software engineering and quality assurance activities across new feature design, development, maintenance, and support.
  • Adopt DevOps and CI/CD processes to facilitate test-driven development (TDD) and continuous testing.
  • Create, trigger, monitor, and maintain automated test suites; identify issues and gaps and drive continuous improvements.
  • Conduct integration and regression testing, perform root cause analysis, error segmentation, and trend/data analysis, and develop tools/frameworks to scale testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing test specifications for agile software projects of significant size and complexity.
  • Experience testing customer-facing web, iOS, and Android applications on real devices and understanding user experience patterns.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute test plans and test scripts.
  • Experience with Unit Testing and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with QA software and automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, BrowserStack, Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and BlazeMeter.
  • Familiarity with report/tracking tools (JIRA) and design tools such as Figma.
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing and automation (AWS) and API/debugging tools like Postman and Fiddler.
  • Beginning-to-intermediate experience with MongoDB and basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python or Java.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
