Description

  • Hire and lead a high-performing, inclusive team of 6-8 account executives to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Provide onboarding, coaching, and ongoing support to drive team readiness, growth, and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with Mainline AEs, leaders, and Specialist Sales Engineers to improve team selling and conversion.
  • Monitor pipeline and partner with Mainline owners and Account Development Representatives to build account plans and pursue whitespace.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and strategy to solve problems and optimize go-to-market execution for the new product.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling Specialist support globally.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience with proven ownership of a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong track record of overachievement and experience coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time frames.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Overlay or new product launch sales experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Product and Marketing to influence go-to-market strategy preferred.
  • Ability to operate in strategic partnership with senior AEs and account teams preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Claude, Gong, and other key sales tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks preferred.
