Description

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet revenue and growth goals across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with district and cabinet-level decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to advance partnerships and opportunities.
  • Create and manage strategic account plans for top accounts.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems.
  • Follow up promptly on qualified leads and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Represent Riverside at conferences and events to build awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in educational or EdTech sales.
  • Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the educational sales cycle and complex buying processes.
  • Experience building and advancing a pipeline using a consultative sales approach.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to establish rapport and earn trust.
  • Resilience, persistence, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Former education experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Riverside products such as CogAT and Iowa Assessments preferred.
  • Experience creating strategic territory plans and conducting in-person visits preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel 50%–70% for district visits, conferences, and presentations.
  • Applicants must reside in Virginia or North Carolina.
