Description

  • Manage and sell Renaissance Learning products and services within an assigned territory.
  • Drive new business, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities to exceed revenue goals.
  • Proactively engage multiple decision makers to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to increase loyalty, retention, and business value.
  • Serve as the primary account contact for customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success partners and Account Executive team members.
  • Develop consultative solutions aligned to customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead internal and external partners to create winning solutions for customers and Renaissance.
  • Maintain strong product renewal rates and grow the assigned book of business.
  • Use market and competitive insights to strengthen customer credibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales technology such as Salesforce and MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales is preferred.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving are preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the K-12 education space, including public, private, and parochial schools, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 district operations, school administrative roles, funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight is preferred.
  • Occasional travel is required for customer engagements, conferences, and other revenue-generating activities.
  • Candidates should ideally reside in Florida or a neighboring state.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, and visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Base salary range of $55,000 to $61,500.
  • Total target compensation range of $102,000 to $140,000.
