Description

  • Design, build, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models across the full data science lifecycle.
  • Develop advanced analytics solutions for clinical prediction, population health, operational optimization, and research enablement.
  • Build AI-powered applications using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines for clinical and operational workflows.
  • Work with diverse healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims, and clinical registries.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Document best practices and scalable frameworks that can be reused across client engagements.
  • Mentor and guide client counterparts to help sustain and expand project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and consulting teams on advanced analytics solutions.
  • Support upcoming client engagements as part of an active pipeline tied to client demand.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related quantitative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data science, including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience building, validating, and deploying machine learning models such as classification, regression, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
  • Experience with MLOps best practices, including model versioning, CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking with MLflow or similar tools, and continuous monitoring.
  • Practical experience building AI-powered solutions using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based data and ML platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Healthcare industry experience with EHR data, claims, HL7/FHIR, and clinical terminologies is preferred.
  • Experience with population health analytics, risk stratification, or social determinants of health is preferred.
  • Understanding of research enablement workflows such as cohort identification, clinical trial matching, and outcomes research is preferred.
  • Experience with vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning, or LLM evaluation frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is preferred.
  • Revenue cycle, staffing optimization, or other operational analytics experience is preferred.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field like computer science, statistics, or biostatistics is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work remotely and independently from a home office.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite meetings and business reviews as needed.
  • This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
