Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, maintaining a five-business-day month-end close target.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, payroll allocations, depreciation schedules, and intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare GAAP- and IFRS-compliant financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Deliver executive, board, and investor reporting, including variance analysis, dashboards, financial commentary, and business recommendations.
  • Design and strengthen internal controls; ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate external audits, manage Prepared by Client requests, and maintain audit-ready financial documentation.
  • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and capital planning.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and debt compliance, recommending performance improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and review the work of the accounting team while establishing scalable processes and quality standards.
  • Drive ERP, automation, workflow optimization, SOP, and reporting infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, financial reporting, and financial close management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong financial analysis, reporting, and executive presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • CPA, ACCA, or MBA (preferred).
  • Previous Controller, Finance Manager, or Accounting Manager experience; ERP implementation, M&A integration, SaaS, professional services, real estate, or Power BI, Tableau, and Looker experience (preferred).
