Description

  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts and manage cash-related transactions.
  • Support department leaders and staff across billing and collections, marketing and sales, call center, and clinical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, including PCI requirements.
  • Assist with monthly close activities and preparation of financial statements.
  • Support financial setup and accounting activities for new market launches.
  • Manage merchant account reconciliations, related issues, and insurance claims fund reconciliation.
  • Oversee petty cash, cash deposits, intercompany transfers, funding sheets, equipment asset accounts, and loans.
  • Prepare annual 1099 filings and manage unclaimed property obligations.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles and procedures.
  • 3+ years of required QuickBooks experience.
  • 5+ years of required accounting management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Experience with cash management, bank reconciliations, monthly close, and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with intercompany transfers, merchant account reconciliations, 1099s, and unclaimed property.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a customer-service-oriented manner.
  • Experience with multi-location and multi-entity operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; experience with billing and collections, managing accounting staff, or in a dental support organization is a plus.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $90,000–$100,000 USD.
