Description

  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across U.S. and international entities, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
  • Prepare timely, compliant U.S. GAAP financial statements and oversee local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Deliver financial reporting packages, SaaS metrics, and covenant reporting to the CFO, board, PE sponsor, and lenders.
  • Serve as the technical accounting authority for revenue recognition, leases, equity compensation, R&D costs, and non-routine transactions.
  • Design and maintain internal controls and manage statutory filings, external audits, and quarterly reviews.
  • Lead cash management, cash-flow forecasting, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and working-capital optimization.
  • Support acquisition due diligence and post-close integrations, including standardizing accounting policies, chart of accounts, and systems.
  • Own and improve ERP and consolidation systems, driving automation and reducing manual work.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a global accounting team with scalable roles and performance expectations.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, Revenue Operations, and business leaders on actuals, contracts, deal structures, and financial implications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or international equivalent, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience; Big 4 or national firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading global, multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and equity compensation accounting.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Experience in a SaaS or software business; life sciences or healthcare-adjacent experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment, including lender and covenant reporting.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a distributed team.
  • Strong ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite or a comparable system.
  • Must be located in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
