Description

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services, data pipelines, and distributed infrastructure.
  • Develop front-end features in TypeScript/React to support the platform’s user experience.
  • Implement complex business logic and intelligent filtering algorithms that power the product.
  • Optimize fare tracking solutions to help clients reduce travel spend.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for distributed, high-scale applications.
  • Integrate with third-party REST and SOAP APIs to ensure smooth interoperability.
  • Collaborate closely with product and business teams to deliver impactful features.
  • Support the reliability and performance of production systems in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of building production systems.
  • Strong background in designing scalable, distributed applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Python/Django and Java/Kotlin on the JVM stack.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
  • Solid understanding of Linux runtime environments.
  • Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to keep learning.
  • Experience in the travel industry, especially with GDS APIs such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport, is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD practices is a plus.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or notable side projects are a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative product development is a plus.
