Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to build pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Deliver demos, presentations, and proposals that communicate product and business value.
  • Position Neo4j’s solutions against competing technologies and approaches based on market knowledge and customer needs.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles using a solution-based and land-and-expand approach.
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting through closing new logos and expanding existing accounts.
  • Guide and mentor Business Development Representatives and Field Marketing resources to support target account alignment and pipeline development.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and adhere to forecasting guidelines.
  • Build partnerships with public cloud providers, including AWS, Google, and Microsoft Azure, to create growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with solution engineering, marketing, professional services, and other cross-functional teams to support customer success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales with a consistent track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience managing complex sales processes in enterprise markets such as Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
  • Ability to independently develop and close new client relationships while managing long-term business engagements.
  • Understanding of commercial open-source business models, including on-premise and cloud/SaaS hybrid solutions.
  • Ability to craft and execute sales strategies tailored to specific industries, using partner and go-to-market knowledge.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to build strong business champions.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Field Engineering teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, IT leaders, technical end users, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Channel Partners.
  • Preferred: experience selling complex technical solutions into enterprise markets with a focus on subscription-based models and cloud deployments.
  • Preferred: knowledge of graph technology, data management tools, or other advanced data-driven technologies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and proficiency with Google Docs, Salesforce, and MS Office.
