Description

  • Identify, target, and secure new client engagements with major corporations.
  • Leverage an established network to open doors within Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and go-to-market strategies aligned to client priorities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and growth targets for the role level.
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships as a strategic partner and thought leader.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of engagements to ensure quality delivery and measurable client impact.
  • Advocate for client needs internally to support project success and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and cross-functional teams to execute client engagements smoothly.
  • Review proposals, pitch decks, and deliverables for strategic alignment and quality.
  • Provide weekly updates on pipeline activity, business development progress, and client relationship health.
  • Contribute market insights and external-facing content that strengthens BlueLabs’ presence in the data science space.
  • Mentor and support team members working on client engagements, with direct-report management increasing by level.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space for Director candidates.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space for Senior Director candidates.
  • 12+ years of experience in sales or business development within professional services, consulting, or the data and analytics space for Managing Director candidates.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales quotas in a consultative services environment.
  • Familiarity with or deep understanding of consumer analytics, influencer analytics, AI, persuasion modeling, and experimental design.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build immediate credibility with Fortune 500 executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to craft creative, data-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Expectation to land new logos within the first 6 months for Director and Senior Director candidates.
  • Expectation to independently land new logos within the first 3 to 6 months for Managing Director candidates.
  • Managing Director candidates should have experience mentoring staff, with potential to manage direct reports and help define Commercial Practice strategy.
