Description

  • Design and deliver onboarding programs that prepare new hires quickly and effectively.
  • Help develop go-to-market programs that support customer growth and customer success.
  • Translate complex database features into value-based selling points and “Why MariaDB” talk tracks.
  • Develop and maintain competitive battlecards for major competitors such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and AWS Aurora.
  • Optimize the sales tech stack, including Salesforce and sales enablement tools, to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Partner with sales and technical leadership to assess performance needs through data analysis and lead workshops to improve performance.
  • Serve as the voice of sales to Product and Marketing by sharing market feedback and helping align roadmap and messaging.
  • Deliver training through MariaDB University and track engagement, completion, and certification metrics.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, or a high-performing Sales role.
  • SaaS experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including the ability to present effectively in person or over Zoom.
  • Ability to analyze CRM data and turn it into actionable training insights.
  • Experience selling database, analytics, and open source software and services.
  • Proven ability to convert technical documentation into a concise executive pitch.
  • Expert-level knowledge of CRM reporting, sales workflows, and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and day-to-day realities of modern sales professionals.
