Description

  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and prioritize prospects in a managed territory.
  • Conduct outbound cold outreach to potential customers through phone and email.
  • Identify high-potential businesses that fit MariaDB's target profile.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to develop and run inbound and outbound campaigns.
  • Schedule discovery calls and set qualified introductory meetings for Account Executives and the Sales team.
  • Engage IT and business decision makers to uncover customer pain points and context.
  • Update lead and prospect activity in Salesforce and manage daily work in Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity quotas.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing and Account Executives to support business growth.
  • Invest in ongoing self-development to strengthen core sales skills and future career growth.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of B2B business development experience.
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills.
  • Self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or with coaching.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Salesloft is desired.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passion for cutting-edge technology and ability to learn new IT software products quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual English language skills are a strong added advantage, with English plus one other European language preferred, such as German, French, or Arabic.
  • Must be based in Bangalore, India, or remote in India.
