Description

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to exceed annual sales objectives and quota targets.
  • Create account plans to win new business from prospective key end-user accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
  • Meet sales quota for new key end-user accounts by managing the full sales cycle for enterprise opportunities.
  • Partner with channel partners to advance significant end-user opportunities and follow through on partner-sourced leads.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to deliver technical pre-sales support to customer IT, Security, Cyber, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of current and new products and software application technologies.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to share customer and market feedback.
  • Use Salesforce.com to manage opportunities, quotes, funnel activity, leads, and account details.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales prospecting, business development, and SaaS sales in the enterprise retail sector.
  • Experience selling into large enterprise retail accounts.
  • Proven track record in customer satisfaction, consultative selling, and solution selling.
  • Proven ability to develop, close, and retain strong end-user and partner relationships.
  • Experience generating leads through relationships with end users and partners within an assigned vertical market.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions involving hardware, software, and services in simple terms.
  • Experience working successfully from a home-based office with a self-starter mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong written, project management, and technical aptitude, including understanding of commercial transactions, RFI/RFP processes, and sales cycles.
