Description

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to exceed annual sales objectives and quota targets.
  • Create account plans to win new business from enterprise end-user accounts not currently doing business with March Networks.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer meetings.
  • Partner with channel partners to advance significant end-user sales opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to deliver technical pre-sales support to target customers and their IT, Security, Cyber, and Operations teams.
  • Continuously build knowledge of existing and new products and solutions, including the company’s software application technologies.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to provide customer and market feedback.
  • Use Salesforce.com to manage opportunities, quotes, funnel, leads, and account details.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales prospecting, business development, and selling SaaS solutions in the enterprise banking sector.
  • Experience with a hunting mindset and selling into large enterprise banking accounts.
  • Proven track record of using a consultative approach and solution selling to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated success developing, closing, and retaining strong end-user and partner relationships.
  • Ability to generate leads through relationships across end users and partners within the assigned vertical market.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions simply across hardware, software, and services.
  • Experience working from a home-based office and operating as a self-starter.
  • Strong written, communication, project management, technical aptitude, planning, and time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial transactions, RFI/RFP processes, and sales cycles.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and work independently to make effective decisions.
