Description

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
  • Develop predictive and forecasting models for sales, demand, and customer behavior.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and other cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate campaigns, product changes, and pricing strategies.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and automated reports to track business KPIs.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to collect and clean data from multiple sources such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and CRM systems.
  • Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Work with engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, actionable ways.
  • Stay current with emerging data science tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or consumer analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with SQL and data manipulation in relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and regression modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Amazon Seller Central is preferred.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, LTV prediction, and churn modeling is preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and attribution modeling, is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud data tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift is preferred.
  • Exposure to A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks is preferred.
