Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of data science initiatives, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize statistical and machine learning models for complex business problems.
  • Own data science projects end to end, including exploration, feature engineering, validation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Design scalable data science and machine learning solutions using AWS services.
  • Provide technical guidance, conduct reviews, and mentor data scientists and other technical team members.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and software engineers to develop data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor model performance and ensure solutions remain accurate, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Contribute to data science strategy, analytical frameworks, and organizational knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related field, including technical leadership experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, experimentation, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Advanced Python proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, optimization, and production ML practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing or implementing data science and machine learning solutions in AWS environments.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets, data warehouses, and complex data environments.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions, make architecture and modeling decisions, and drive projects from concept to production.
  • Advanced English proficiency and clear communication with international stakeholders and leadership.
  • Preferred experience with SageMaker, S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, MLOps, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or NLP.
  • AWS certifications or experience in financial services or other data-intensive industries are preferred.
