Description

  • Translate business and clinical goals into robust ML/AI models.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize data collection.
  • Build data assets and deliver insights supporting business strategy and patient care.
  • Develop models using clinical, claims, and social determinants of health data.
  • Create actionable recommendations from model outputs.
  • Define and maintain model logging, monitoring, alerting, evaluation metrics, hyperparameters, and drift tracking.
  • Query Snowflake and prepare data for exploratory analysis and modeling.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and own the model development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, statistics, and research methods.
  • Ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a startup or growth environment.
  • Passion for improving pediatric healthcare for children with special healthcare needs.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience building with LLMs and knowledge of AI integration best practices preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Tableau, dbt, Dagster, or distributed computing frameworks preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $135,000–$160,000.
  • Annual bonus incentive.
