Description

  • Field inbound demand from demos, trials, free accounts, and product inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Run consultative demos with a focus on one-call closes for smaller opportunities whenever possible.
  • Conduct targeted business discovery to understand customer goals, urgency, and fit.
  • Qualify prospects in or out efficiently to prioritize the highest-value opportunities.
  • Own and manage a high-velocity pipeline with strong prioritization and time management.
  • Drive new logo acquisition while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
  • Contribute to Growth team metrics including free-to-paid conversion, logo count, and ADS.
  • Advise customers on solutions based on ecommerce best practices and effective use of Klaviyo’s platform.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Product, Customer Success, and marketing/sales management.
  • Create and maintain a feedback loop on product, web, onboarding, and other customer touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Previous academic, work, and/or internship experience with transferable skills such as sales, customer service, support, retail, or hospitality.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Experience or the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and detail orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Interest in exceeding goals and continuously learning.
  • 6+ months of business development experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • CRM proficiency such as Salesforce or similar is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $23.08 to $34.62 USD per hour for U.S. locations.
  • Participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
  • Variable compensation/OTE for sales and customer success roles.
  • Equity and sign-on payments may be included in total compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
  • Up to 10% travel for onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events, coordinated in advance.
