Description

  • Develop, evolve, and maintain robust, scalable, well-documented REST APIs.
  • Build and support backend services using Java with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut.
  • Implement and evolve the BFF layer to support efficient contracts for front-end and mobile teams.
  • Work closely with iOS, Android, and Web teams to adapt API responses to consumption needs.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, reviews, and daily standups.
  • Collaborate on API contracts and technical specifications with product and design teams.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
  • Ensure test coverage and code quality using best practices such as SOLID and Clean Code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous team improvement.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, production monitoring, and performance troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Experience with Java, Maven or Gradle, and Spring Boot on the backend.
  • Strong experience developing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
  • Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, Kafka, and/or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and relational/non-relational databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with Kotlin on the backend is preferred.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and BFF (Backends for Frontends) is preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog is preferred.
