Description

  • Build and execute customized lighting and electrical service solutions across national portfolios covering service, support, software, installation, and maintenance.
  • Develop key partnerships with distributors, suppliers, ESCOs, and property management companies to grow the lighting and electrical business line.
  • Support profitable and sustainable growth across branch locations within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with internal Service, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and proactive issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand account scope, including OEM equipment resale, warranty management, and aftermarket service packages.
  • Represent InCharge Energy in external engagements such as industry conferences, working groups, and partnership meetings.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for major accounts across North America and manage long-term account growth.
  • Own the customer lifecycle from opportunity development through post-deployment support, including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and SLA oversight.
  • Contribute to long-range revenue forecasts and account-level performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, key account management, or business development in a technical, infrastructure, or clean energy environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic programs with large enterprise accounts exceeding $10M annually.
  • Strong finance and analytical background to support sales for customers pursuing energy-efficient solutions.
  • Experience building or developing a new product, service, or business line.
  • Strong background in lighting and electrical services, fleet electrification, energy-as-a-service (EaaS), or large-scale infrastructure deployment.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments with internal cross-functional teams and external client decision-makers.
  • High comfort level with CRM tools, with Salesforce preferred, plus contract management and sales forecasting experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive and technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
