Description

  • Own and grow the new business pipeline from first contact through signed contract.
  • Serve as the primary sales resource for marketing-generated leads, inbound inquiries, and partner-referred opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, webinars, user groups, events, messaging, and lead generation strategy.
  • Nurture prospects through the sales cycle with consistent follow-up and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and leadership reporting.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to assess prospect pain points, financial operations, requirements, and strategic objectives.
  • Map prospect needs to Sage Intacct capabilities and develop customized solution messaging.
  • Deliver independent, discovery-driven Sage Intacct demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s industry and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present implementation proposals, Statements of Work, ROI analyses, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle through negotiation, contract execution, and handoff to delivery and implementation teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/SaaS sales, consulting, or practice leadership.
  • Direct Sage Intacct experience in sales, implementation, or a combined role.
  • Ability to independently deliver polished, discovery-driven Sage Intacct demonstrations without pre-sales support; this is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with mid-market prospects of 50–500 employees.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to diagnose business problems and explain how Sage Intacct addresses them.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for audiences including CFOs, Controllers, and C-suite leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings, demos, or industry events.
  • Sage Intacct Sales Consultant certification and/or nonprofit industry-specific certification is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on Sage Intacct implementation or consulting background is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct capabilities relevant to nonprofit accounting is preferred.
