Description

  • Support the New Business and Sales Development/SMB VP organizations across content development, training delivery, and analytics.
  • Develop and execute enablement programs that equip reps and leaders with the resources and training needed to sell GitLab effectively.
  • Partner with global field leadership to assess needs, build plans, and tailor enablement content for specific teams and markets.
  • Scope and build new enablement content for product knowledge, skill development, onboarding, leadership development, and related programs.
  • Collaborate with content teams and subject matter experts to create role-specific training and enablement curriculum.
  • Align enablement activities with product releases, customer meetings, campaigns, and industry events.
  • Use Salesforce, Cornerstone, Gong, and other tools to deliver training and identify support gaps.
  • Equip field teams with AI best practices for account research, tiering, and messaging.
  • Develop job aids, supporting materials, and assessments to improve field effectiveness.
  • Measure, report on, and improve the impact of enablement investments and learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in software sales, sales development, or enablement.
  • Experience building relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  • Software sales or sales enablement experience, preferably with DevOps and/or Open Source expertise.
  • Working knowledge of sales training technology, methodologies, and enablement concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Active use of AI tools in daily work to accelerate content development, program design, and ideation.
  • Relevant experience preparing and executing sales effectiveness strategies, tactics, and action plans.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences with varying technical expertise.
  • Strong ability to interact with and influence field professionals and management.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Team-player mindset with strong interpersonal skills, project and change management experience, and cross-functional collaboration ability.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $139,000 to $220,000 USD for the listed U.S. level.
  • Sales roles are eligible for incentive pay of up to 100% of base salary.
