Description

  • Own the senior technical relationship with a portfolio of high-value federal and public sector partners.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to partner CTO, CISO, and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Lead joint technical strategy sessions and executive business reviews.
  • Architect and lead complex partner initiatives, including federal cloud migrations, zero-trust observability frameworks, FedRAMP-aligned deployments, and large-scale DevSecOps transformations.
  • Design and deliver partner enablement programs such as workshops, certifications, and technical deep-dives.
  • Collaborate internally on partner technical initiatives, including end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching on best practices.
  • Advocate for partner technical concerns with Datadog internal teams and help drive resolution of use cases, feature requests, and support issues.
  • Represent federal partner needs to Product, Engineering, and Technical Services to influence platform prioritization and roadmap decisions.
  • Continuously curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and partner success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in a customer-facing or partner-facing technical role.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both executive and deep-technical levels simultaneously.
  • Proven track record building and sustaining C-suite relationships in federal or public sector environments.
  • Deep familiarity with the federal technology landscape, including procurement cycles, FedRAMP, FISMA, IL5, FSIs, GSIs, and channel partners.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate Datadog value across technical and executive audiences.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Hands-on experience in 5 or more of the following areas: observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, or Dynatrace; public cloud such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP; containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift; scripting languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Bash; configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
  • Previous experience in a senior technical role at a federal systems integrator, defense contractor, or public sector-focused ISV.
  • Previous experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, and NPM.
  • Previous experience building or scaling partner technical programs.
  • Previous experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
