Description

  • Drive the full sales cycle for API products from prospecting and initial contact through negotiation and closing.
  • Manage complex, high-value sales opportunities to consistently meet and exceed individual sales quotas.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to grow revenue.
  • Provide input into sales strategy using market trends, client feedback, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts and communicate deal progress and risks to sales leadership.
  • Generate and qualify new business leads through outreach, networking, and collaboration with the Growth team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with client stakeholders, including technical teams and decision-makers.
  • Lead technical scoping and develop tailored API solution proposals aligned to client goals, requirements, and budget.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular reports on performance, pipeline status, and deal metrics.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure technical feasibility, smooth implementation, and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior-mid sales team members and interns on deal strategy, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Support ad hoc tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales with a consistent track record of exceeding targets, ideally in startups or fintech.
  • Experience engaging with CTOs, Product Managers, and engineers in technical sales conversations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of CoinGecko’s API product, customer needs, and the crypto/blockchain landscape.
  • Proficiency in the full sales lifecycle, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot and using data to manage pipeline and sales activities.
  • Strong understanding of API products, SaaS metrics such as ARR and churn, and common API use cases.
  • Experience with market research, competitor analysis, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, risks, costs, and timelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly agile environment.
  • Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, and metaverse topics.
  • Based in Malaysia only.
