Description

  • Develop and evolve backend services in Java.
  • Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices.
  • Work with messaging systems and distributed architectures.
  • Integrate services with the AWS ecosystem.
  • Ensure application quality, observability, and resilience.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Take part in technical refinements and architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Java, including Java 21+, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, Clean Architecture, BFF, and DDD.
  • Experience modeling REST APIs with Spring Boot and AWS API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of application security, including authentication, OWASP, and best practices.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests with JUnit 4+ and Mockito.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with messaging tools such as Amazon SQS, Kafka, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD and familiarity with Git.
  • Familiarity with using AI in software development, such as code generation and automation.
  • Preferred experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Grafana, AppDynamics, or X-Ray.
  • Preferred experience with release strategies such as Canary, Blue/Green, or A/B deployments.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Preferred experience using feature toggles in production applications.
  • AWS or Java certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in high-scale environments is a plus.
  • Candidates must be located in Brazil.
  • If living in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, onsite presence in the Campinas offices is mandatory according to the current attendance policy.
