Description

  • Develop efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and maintainable client software.
  • Own projects from technical design through successful production launch.
  • Gather, validate, and document requirements and technical decisions.
  • Analyze, design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and document software solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, managers, and technical leads to understand user needs and deliver client outcomes.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
  • Provide project estimates, status tracking, reporting, risk escalation, and delivery updates.
  • Follow established development methodologies and quality standards while improving delivery processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience with Java 21, Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and multithreaded application development.
  • Experience with Redis/Redisson, Spring, ORM technologies, Hibernate, and Apache-based frameworks.
  • Experience designing and implementing high-volume, highly available applications and medium-to-large software systems.
  • Knowledge of exception handling, data structures, memory management, application tuning, and object-oriented programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL or document databases, SQL queries, joins, views, GROUP BY, and HAVING clauses.
  • Experience with unit testing, characterization testing, and Java testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of C++ for understanding legacy systems and familiarity with telecom protocols such as SS7 and Diameter.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, source control tools, HTTP, JSON, and XML.
  • Proficiency in English and experience building frontend or backend applications at scale.
