Description

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and integrations.
  • Serve as the main technical reference for backend and mobile engineering teams and vendors.
  • Guide teams on architectural best practices and patterns such as Clean Architecture, DDD, SOLID, and TDD.
  • Conduct technical analysis for build-vs-buy decisions and participate in RFPs and PoCs.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical debt and platform risks.
  • Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Align product solutions with corporate enterprise architecture and global strategy.
  • Promote reuse of existing components and avoid unnecessary duplication.
  • Review and guide mobile architecture decisions for iOS and Android solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with strong backend experience in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages.
  • Solid familiarity with mobile architectures for iOS and Android.
  • Deep knowledge of architecture and design patterns, including Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, and SOLID.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS and messaging/event systems like SNS, SQS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
  • Ability to lead complex technical discussions and present architectural concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with GIT/Git Flow and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Preferred experience with Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred experience with event-driven architectures and data streaming solutions.
  • Preferred experience with API management platforms such as Apigee Hybrid and observability tools such as Grafana and Datadog.
  • Preferred familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Preferred knowledge of GoLang.
  • Preferred certification or knowledge of ISO 27001.
  • Preferred experience working in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Must be able to work in the Campinas metropolitan region office when required by policy.
