Description

  • Define and execute sales plans for an assigned territory.
  • Convey product value and differentiators to prospects and customers.
  • Forecast sales performance and meet or exceed quota.
  • Develop and manage the lead funnel using inbound and outbound leads.
  • Manage business activity and track opportunities in CRM and related tools.
  • Collaborate across product, support, and sales engineering to improve the sales cycle.
  • Understand the competitive market and be familiar with competing offerings.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers to evangelize secure and reliable software.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing experience in the SaaS, Security, or DevOps industry.
  • Must be located in California.
  • US-based candidate.
  • Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets, ideally in the top 10-20% of the company.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
  • Team-oriented, competitive, and driven.
  • Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to clients when required.
  • Domain experience with compute platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins, and the overall SDLC strongly recommended.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude and foundational understanding of the sales process preferred.
  • Tech-savvy business acumen with the ability to articulate a value proposition in a complex, evolving environment preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment with an ever-evolving set of solutions preferred.
