Description

  • Own the process to retain and upsell Garner’s largest employer clients with 1,000 to 5,000 lives.
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure key clients have an excellent experience.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner on plan design, cost trend management, and plan performance.
  • Establish and manage important strategic broker and client relationships.
  • Monitor client health and proactively address key account risks through strategic plans.
  • Work with clients to resolve strategic problems and demonstrate Garner’s value to employer health plans and members.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and technology teams to create customized reports and presentations that show value and ROI.
  • Drive improved net revenue retention and other key account KPIs for the book of business.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a commercially oriented account management or sales role in the employee benefits space.
  • Deep knowledge of health plan design and benefits, including experience advising large and enterprise employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance.
  • Proven track record of achieving retention and upsell targets year over year.
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability in ambiguous situations.
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to work on a high-performing, mission-driven team with urgency, accountability, and authentic feedback.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience supporting large employer accounts or enterprise clients is preferred.
