Description

  • Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leads to develop and execute technical strategies for the Banking organization.
  • Influence technical decisions across the organization and company to drive consistent and efficient outcomes.
  • Directly contribute to technical designs and remain hands-on with code contributions.
  • Drive cross-cutting architectural decisions and infrastructure improvements to make systems more robust and scalable.
  • Help lead the overall technical strategy for the team through close collaboration across teams and disciplines.
  • Maintain high engineering standards for yourself and your teammates.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to expand their technical breadth and depth.
  • Apply an AI-first mindset and help raise the team’s bar for AI usage.
  • Foster the growth of aspiring engineers beyond their immediate teams.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience leading large-scale features, including planning, managing, and delivering projects on time and with high quality.
  • Experience identifying, aligning on, and delivering globally optimal solutions in complex systems with many moving parts.
  • Ability to design and build creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong track record of helping other engineers grow.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Java and Kotlin, or willingness to work with these technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture, and related backend technologies is preferred.
