Description

  • Architect software platforms from concept through deployment using emerging technologies.
  • Design scalable system architectures for the company’s OSINT ecosystem.
  • Own a platform domain end to end, including design, delivery, and production support.
  • Develop full-stack applications using web frameworks, APIs, JavaScript, PHP, TypeScript, and Go.
  • Apply test-driven development, continuous delivery, telemetry, and production feedback loops.
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews, including review of AI-assisted code.
  • Implement security and data protection controls across the technology stack.
  • Design and deliver technical training while mentoring engineers through reviews, pairing, and hands-on guidance.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and intelligence analysts to troubleshoot issues and improve products.
  • Support customer engagements and strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and Go, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
  • Expertise designing and developing high-performance, secure architectures.
  • Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and application telemetry.
  • Sound judgment reviewing code written by others, including AI-assisted development output.
  • Ability to evaluate and justify build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including design documents and architecture decision records.
  • Experience designing and delivering training and mentoring engineers as a peer rather than a manager.
  • Strong client-facing communication and vendor engagement experience.
  • Experience with front-end web frameworks; Vue experience is preferred, as is experience in a startup environment.
