Description

  • Lead end-to-end release planning across Salesforce environments including Dev, UAT, Staging, and Production.
  • Manage release work items, epics, tasks, schedules, milestones, and sprint-to-release mappings in Jira.
  • Coordinate release readiness with developers, admins, QA, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Own the full sandbox refresh lifecycle, including planning, stakeholder communication, and post-refresh restoration.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of Release Support Specialists and serve as their escalation point.
  • Represent the release function in CAB meetings and prepare production change requests with testing evidence and rollback plans.
  • Administer and optimize Copado CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, promotions, rollbacks, and hotfixes.
  • Enforce release governance, auditability, and compliance across deployments and sandbox refreshes.
  • Monitor Copado DevOps Analytics and drive continuous improvement in release performance.
  • Communicate release notes, refresh notices, and deployment impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce delivery experience, including at least 3 years in a Release Manager or Release Lead role.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Copado experience, including pipeline configuration, promotion management, and quality gates.
  • Experience with Copado Metadata Pipeline (Classic) and/or Source Format Pipeline (2nd Generation).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Metadata API and SFDX/source format concepts.
  • Hands-on sandbox management experience, including refresh planning and post-refresh restoration steps.
  • Experience attending or facilitating CAB meetings and preparing change request documentation.
  • Proficiency with Jira for release tracking, sandbox calendaring, backlog grooming, and CAB readiness tracking.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Git version control, including merges, conflict resolution, and pull requests.
  • People leadership experience mentoring or managing small technical teams.
  • Copado Admin Certification required or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ITIL Foundation, or equivalent Agile/change management certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Copado Robotic Testing, Copado Agentia Pro, or other CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins preferred.
  • Based in Latin America with at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern or Central time.
  • Available for recurring Tuesday/Thursday CAB meetings during US business hours.
  • Fluent in English and comfortable working in distributed, cross-cultural teams.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization is required; no sponsorship is available.
