Description

  • Partner with the Key Account Leader to manage complex, high-impact public safety engagements.
  • Sell Axon Air products and technology offerings to domestic law enforcement agencies across the territory.
  • Serve as a functional expert on the Air program for the broader Axon sales team.
  • Generate leads and pursue opportunities using Google Alerts, RFP requests, and other sources.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and contact networks within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies with cross-functional partners to strengthen value propositions.
  • Forecast pipeline activity, provide timely account updates to management, and share competitor intelligence.
  • Track customer activity in Salesforce and other internal systems to support account strategy and uncover new opportunities.
  • Manage critical partner relationships, including Axon’s Skydio partnership, to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Experience using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory, including 3-4 days per week and overnights.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud technology, and virtualization technology.
  • Experience with solution-based or consultative selling.
  • End-to-end sales process experience, especially in prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Ability to strategically win new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment for a new company initiative.
  • Startup experience and some vertical experience are a plus.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
