Description

  • Design, build, and deliver onboarding programs for new commercial hires, including Sales Account Executives and regional managers.
  • Develop training content on products, clinical value proposition, disease-state knowledge, customer workflows, reimbursement basics, sales process, territory planning, and objection handling.
  • Lead live, virtual, and field-based training sessions that improve sales readiness and shorten ramp time.
  • Create certification programs to standardize product knowledge, messaging, and selling skills across the team.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify coaching opportunities and reinforce best practices in the field.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, call coaching, and skills assessments to improve execution and performance.
  • Build and maintain sales playbooks, call guides, competitive messaging, talk tracks, and other learning resources.
  • Support product launches, messaging updates, and process changes with training plans and adoption strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Operations, and Compliance to ensure training content is accurate and aligned.
  • Measure training effectiveness using KPIs such as ramp time, certification completion, productivity, adoption, and manager feedback.
  • Help plan and facilitate national sales meetings, regional meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensure all training is delivered in a compliant manner consistent with company policies and healthcare industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, learning and development, or commercial excellence, or an equivalent combination of field sales and training experience.
  • Experience supporting a field-based sales organization in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, medical device, digital health, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver structured onboarding and ongoing training programs.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear, usable content.
  • Experience partnering with commercial leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort using CRM, presentation tools, and learning platforms to manage training programs and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support field coaching and in-person meetings.
  • Experience in oncology, pathology, molecular diagnostics, laboratory services, or AI-enabled healthcare solutions, preferred.
  • Prior field sales experience in addition to training or enablement experience, preferred.
  • Experience building enablement programs in a growing or scaling commercial organization, preferred.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, certification design, and reinforcement strategies, preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales enablement or LMS platforms, preferred.
  • Strong command of consultative selling methodologies and coaching frameworks, preferred.
