Description

  • Develop and maintain the vision, strategy, and accountability for the global Sales Engineering team.
  • Lead regional Sales Engineering managers and help them develop their teams and exceed performance targets.
  • Partner with sales to build success plans and engagement strategies that grow ARR across new and existing accounts.
  • Deliver technical pre-sales support through product demonstrations, customer meetings, and solution presentations.
  • Train and enable the global Sales Engineering organization on market, product, and competitive knowledge.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product managers, and leadership to align customer needs, product direction, and solution positioning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers through ongoing technical consultation and executive-level selling practices.
  • Drive strategic and enterprise account opportunities within key territories.
  • Streamline proof-of-value and proof-of-concept sales cycles with direct and channel partners.
  • Participate in regional industry events and organizations as an industry thought leader.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of industry experience in sales engineering focused on the cybersecurity market.
  • SIEM and security analytics experience is required.
  • Progressive leadership experience in high-growth SaaS or high-tech enterprise software companies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity market trends and key competitors.
  • Ability to quickly learn and position technical information about Anomali’s technology and competitor offerings.
  • Proven ability to evangelize and communicate the value proposition of security applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to senior decision-makers and large audiences.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking concepts and operating systems including Linux and Windows.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR technologies such as Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, Exabeam, or Sentinel is preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead proofs of concept and solution demonstrations.
  • This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship in the U.S.
