Description

  • Provide technical support and relationship management for enterprise customers throughout the partner lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions teams on pre-sales discussions, solution design, API consultations, and client presentations.
  • Guide enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, and onboarding.
  • Lead end-to-end technical sales engagements, including discovery, solution validation, RFPs, security questionnaires, and product demos.
  • Translate customer, business, and regional requirements into clear specifications for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Serve as the technical and product subject-matter expert for the Alpaca platform across diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local compliance and operations teams, regulators, vendors, and partners on regional product requirements.
  • Create sales materials and technical documentation for new products and features.
  • Test and help roll out new features to partners while maintaining high standards of customer support.
  • Travel as needed to support customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise or B2B customers in technical sales engineering or solutions engineering roles, ideally at API- or SaaS-first companies.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SDKs, software integration workflows, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible terms.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and drive projects to completion in a startup environment.
  • Experience in fintech, capital markets, brokerage, financial APIs, broker-dealers, or securities firms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of brokerage, post-trade, settlement operations, and related regulations (preferred).
  • Experience closing enterprise deals alongside Account Executives (preferred).
  • US securities qualifications, such as the SIE or Series 7 (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Metabase, FIX, OpenAPI, ReadMe, or technical documentation tools (preferred).
  • Spanish or Portuguese proficiency and interest in the securities industry (preferred).
