Description

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies for assigned SG&A functions aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and candidate experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent forecasting, and market insights.
  • Personally manage and close critical, complex, or leadership-level requisitions through full-cycle recruiting.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and compensation insights to support hiring decisions and talent planning.
  • Analyze recruiting data and metrics to identify trends, optimize performance, forecast hiring needs, and present insights to leadership.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to articulate the employer brand throughout the candidate journey.
  • Partner with People Operations, People Business Partners, and other Talent Acquisition leaders to align hiring strategies.
  • Lead or mentor other recruiters on complex searches and recruiting best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including 4+ years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role managing complex hiring initiatives or teams.
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling recruiting functions, or leading significant talent acquisition projects, in high-growth or technically complex organizations.
  • Deep expertise recruiting across SG&A functions, including People (HR), Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and executive-level roles.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including Director, VP, and C-level leaders.
  • Experience using ATS tools, with Greenhouse preferred, as well as CRM and other recruiting systems to analyze data and report on metrics.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights and optimize workflows.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
  • Advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean search, market mapping, and executive networking.
  • Highly autonomous, intellectually curious, and collaborative.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Experience directly managing and developing a team of recruiters, including performance management and career development, preferred.
  • Prior experience in defense tech, deep tech, aerospace, or a similarly complex mission-driven industry, preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing new recruiting processes, technologies, or programs, preferred.
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives and talent marketing strategies, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferred.

  • Base salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 USD.
