Description

  • Sell complex sponsorship assets, including media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages, for assigned event properties and locations.
  • Identify and cultivate brands and marketing executives within targeted accounts who influence event marketing and media decisions.
  • Develop client presentations and creative pitch concepts using internal and external resources.
  • Address client concerns, questions, and objections to close sponsorship deals.
  • Resolve deal discrepancies and work with the legal team to draft deal terms.
  • Negotiate and renegotiate sponsorship assets and deal points for renewals and long-standing partnerships.
  • Track and communicate progress toward revenue goals and closing prospects using the department CRM system.
  • Manage and support the sales team to help set goals and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Collaborate with department vice presidents, senior leadership, and other AEG business units to execute partnership sales strategies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Exemplary problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate the efforts of individuals and teams across multiple AEG business units.
  • Ability to work with leadership to manage, motivate, and support a sales team.
  • Professional poise and strong interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn required business systems.
  • Strong sales acumen and knowledge of the music space.
  • Proven track record building successful partnerships and securing investments with FORTUNE 500 organizations.
  • Established reputation and history of success with major brands or agencies.
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship for this position.

  • Base salary of $140,000-$157,000.
