Description

  • Qualify prospects and gather the information needed to document opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  • Reach out to new contacts in existing customer accounts and users of free BI tools to convert them into paid editions.
  • Prospect, prioritize, and research target accounts based on territory, demand analytics, and ideal customer profile fit.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach through phone, email, and social media to connect with prospective customers.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and tailor messaging to different stakeholders.
  • Discover prospect pain points and present Actian’s value proposition and customer success stories.
  • Create and maintain an organized territory plan and customer database.
  • Report learnings, follow up on identified opportunities, and collaborate with SDRs, Account Executives, Technical Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Contribute to messaging and content that support targeted personas, ideal customer profiles, and account-based campaigns.
  • Consistently meet qualified meeting and opportunity creation quotas and productivity goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of sales or service experience.
  • Prior success in a Sales Development Representative role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with managers, executives, and customers via phone, email, and social media.
  • A measurable track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, creative, and persistent approach to work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Experience developing email cadences and templates.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS and analytics is a plus.
  • Prior Salesforce.com training or experience is a plus, and familiarity with tools such as ZoomInfo, Cognism, Outreach, Demandbase, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is beneficial.
