Description

  • Develop and execute the regional market access strategy for the urology portfolio across priority EMEA markets.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert on payer evidence requirements, reimbursement processes, pricing frameworks, and HTA pathways.
  • Lead development of value propositions, payer communication tools, and regionally optimized access materials with cross-functional partners.
  • Engage HTA assessors, payers, clinical KOLs, and advocacy groups to shape understanding of clinical and economic value.
  • Provide strategic guidance to country teams on submissions, health economic models, pricing strategies, and reimbursement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to define regional evidence generation needs and data priorities.
  • Interpret policy, regulatory, and reimbursement trends across EMEA and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Lead cross-functional access planning for launches, expansions, and lifecycle milestones.
  • Support market access projects for the Breast Cancer portfolio when requested.
  • Represent market access leadership in regional and global strategic forums and influence direction across teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in market access, reimbursement, payer strategy, or health economics within diagnostics, medical devices, or specialty therapeutics.
  • Deep understanding of HTA processes and payer decision frameworks across major EMEA markets, including experience with European HTA processes such as IQWIG/GBA, HAS, or NICE.
  • Proven success developing regional market access strategies and value narratives for scientifically complex products.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate clinical, health economic, and real-world evidence to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional influence without direct authority and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-engagement skills for high-stakes conversations.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, health economics, public health, business, or similar.
  • 20% travel to conferences, sales meetings, and customer engagements.
  • Advanced degree in health economics, public health, life sciences, policy, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic reimbursement, including LDT/IVD evidence standards, clinical utility demonstration, and HEOR modeling is preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries or a broad EMEA region with diverse payer systems is preferred.
  • Experience shaping evidence generation strategies or partnering with Medical Affairs teams and external consultants is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the urology therapeutic and diagnostic landscape, such as prostate, bladder, or kidney cancer testing, is preferred.
  • German language skills sufficient to interact with payers and KOLs in the DACH region are strongly preferred.
  • Based in Europe, with preference for candidates in Germany; candidates in Italy or Spain are also considered.
