Description

  • Advise the Starlink team on APAC laws, regulations, and policy developments that affect the business.
  • Develop and advocate for broadband and spectrum policies that support SpaceX’s business objectives and Starlink’s success.
  • Represent SpaceX’s positions before regulatory agencies, legislators, and regional organizations.
  • Draft pleadings, letters, and other advocacy materials to advance SpaceX’s policy positions.
  • Research and advise the Starlink team on additional policy issues relevant to the business.
  • Advocate for regulatory frameworks and policy environments that optimize satellite and telecom outcomes for SpaceX.
  • Provide strategic regulatory advice and advocacy support for business development efforts.
  • Support regional and national partnership opportunities.
  • Contribute to global satellite expansion plans and new service offerings initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of experience working with government agencies and policies.
  • 5+ years of experience working in telecommunications policy (preferred).
  • Expert knowledge of telecommunications business and regulatory issues in APAC (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of broadband, ISP, and/or satellite industry practices (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of broadband policy (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of spectrum use and policies (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
  • Must be eligible for U.S. export authorization under ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship/national status, lawful permanent residency, refugee status, or asylee status, or ability to obtain required authorization.

  • $125,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year base salary.
