Description

  • Lead the creation and management of unit and characterization tests to verify ported C++ business logic against legacy behavior.
  • Design and implement a Golden Master testing strategy to ensure functional parity during platform modernization.
  • Build, maintain, and expand test automation for QA, including coordination with UAT and DevOps activities.
  • Integrate test workflows and deliverables into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates.
  • Ensure 100% golden master match and keep performance regression within 10% of the C++ baseline.
  • Develop a comprehensive test suite targeting at least 3,200 test cases and 80% code path coverage across core platform components.
  • Conduct performance profiling and testing to validate throughput and latency requirements.
  • Validate modernization-specific behaviors such as IPC, cache operations, and Node Manager state transitions.
  • Assess telecom protocol interactions and verify behavior for SS7 and Diameter integrations.
  • Support debugging, log analysis, and issue pattern detection during testing and validation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in the IT field.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing for both Java and C++ codebases.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with the target platform using Java 21.
  • Experience testing high-availability and high-performance systems.
  • Deep experience with Golden Master Testing and characterization test creation.
  • Ability to implement AI-assisted test generation and automation, including performance profiling and testing.
  • Ability to understand and validate telecom-specific protocols such as SS7 and Diameter.
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and establishing performance baselines.
  • Strong debugging skills, including log analysis and pattern recognition.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Notion, and git is an advantage.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins is a plus.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI-led SDLC tooling such as Claude Code.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud-native testing methodologies, including chaos engineering and Kubernetes health probe validation.
  • Preferred: familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and ClickHouse.
  • Preferred: background in testing distributed data consistency, including cross-site Redis replication and LWW conflict resolution.
  • Preferred: experience with message bus testing, including Kafka partitioning and Spread IPC message fidelity and ordering validation.
