Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across European fintech and payments markets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s payment solutions footprint across Europe.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to refine business strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with payment providers, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial collaborations that support mutual growth.
  • Serve as the main liaison between external partners and internal teams including Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
  • Drive revenue growth by onboarding and expanding payment method partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions for target markets.
  • Manage a structured pipeline of opportunities from prospecting through activation.
  • Provide market insights to the Product team and support launches of new products and services for Europe.
  • Conduct market research and analysis on the European fintech and payments ecosystem.
  • Prepare data-informed reports and presentations for leadership and regional strategy decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, product, or partnerships within payments or fintech, with a strong focus on Europe.
  • Deep understanding of European payment systems, local payment methods, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Knowledge of PSD2/PSD3, PCI DSS, and AML/KYC frameworks.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional European languages, including Spanish or Portuguese, is a plus.
