Description

  • Nurture, maintain, and cultivate relationships with prospective, inactive, and current client accounts.
  • Make 50-75 daily calls to prospective clients for first outreach and strategic follow-up.
  • Contact prospects by telephone, email, and social media to position Business Wire as a resource and expert.
  • Handle incoming emails and phone calls from prospective clients regarding pricing, billing, product information, and related questions.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the industry, Business Wire’s products and services, and competitors.
  • Communicate the value proposition and ROI of Business Wire products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders to build rapport and generate interest.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared results.
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections during the sales process.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across an organization, including executive/C-level contacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and ambitious, with the ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives.
  • Understanding of investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications preferred.
  • BA/BS degree or international equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and HubSpot preferred.

  • Base salary range of $64,000 to $67,000 per year.
