Description

  • Supervise staff, manage performance and time-off processes, conduct check-ins, and provide Christian spiritual leadership.
  • Co-develop and implement integrated advancement strategies covering church engagement, donor acquisition, and private fundraising.
  • Lead cross-functional advancement projects from planning through implementation, with defined timelines and accountability.
  • Support local offices in meeting fundraising, donor acquisition, pipeline development, and retention goals.
  • Assess and strengthen local messaging, branding, story collection, social media, email marketing, and brand compliance.
  • Manage adoption and execution of major national campaigns across assigned offices.
  • Train staff on HubSpot, Dynamics, Raisers Edge NXT, portfolio management, forecasting, and donor pipeline development.
  • Coach fundraising staff on sales processes, meeting scheduling, pitch development, lead cultivation, and partner care.
  • Coordinate with partnership, impact, corporate, and foundation teams on major donor and foundation proposals and reports.
  • Facilitate cross-office learning and provide portfolio analysis, opportunity tiering, and best-practice sharing.

Requirements

  • Mature personal Christian faith and commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, values, Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian identity, and related evangelical principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, nonprofit management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, including major gift pipeline development.
  • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience involving performance management, goal tracking, professional development, and team coaching.
  • Strong project management skills and experience taking initiatives from ideation through completion.
  • Strategic, results-oriented approach with the ability to align plans and activities with organizational goals.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and building collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and emotional intelligence, including conflict resolution and relationship management.
  • Experience with Raisers Edge NXT and HubSpot preferred.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
