Description

  • Design and implement end-to-end Guidewire solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for Guidewire implementation, customization, upgrade, and cloud migration projects.
  • Develop scalable, maintainable architectures for Guidewire applications and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into system designs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, messaging frameworks, and third-party systems.
  • Review code, establish development standards, and enforce architecture guidelines and best practices.
  • Tune, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment strategies.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Guidewire applications.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, maintainability, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Guidewire development, configuration, and solution design.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
  • Proficiency in Gosu, Guidewire data models, and application configuration.
  • Experience with the Guidewire Integration Framework.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and messaging technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance processes and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Guidewire Certified Professional or Associate certification, Guidewire Cloud Platform experience, and exposure to microservices, AWS, or Azure are preferred.
